The Brightest Star (最闪耀的星星)
The Brightest Star (最闪耀的星星) is the emotional centre of the EP — a fully bilingual song that moves line by line between English and Mandarin. It's about the moment you stop waiting for someone else to light the way and decide to become the light yourself: 如果没有人为你点灯,那就成为光本身. Every scar turns out to be the shape of light.

Songwriter's Notes
The Brightest Star is the song the whole EP title comes from — 成为光, becoming light. It weaves English and Mandarin together not as translation but as one continuous thought, mirroring the two languages Ray writes in. The turn is quiet but total: 不是等光落在我身上,是我点亮了自己 — you don't wait for the light to land on you, you light yourself. By the outro, the scars that once meant falling ('那些让我跌落的伤') are revealed as 'the shape of light.'
